‘The Ocean Behind the Window’ to screen at Cinekid

Iranian movie ‘The Ocean Behind the Window’ is slated to be screened at the Int’l Children’s Film Festival - Cinekid in Amsterdam.

The film directed by Babak Nabizadeh, is one of the three films representing Iran at the Dutch event.

Nabizadeh’s first feature film has also bagged six awards at the International Film Festival for Children and Young Adults in Isfahan.

The film narrates the story of a teenage boy on a remote island who tries to promote the island’s tourism but he faces an unexpected problem.

The cast of ‘The Ocean Behind the Window’ includes Hadiseh Karami, Mohammad Azadi, Mehran Mozaffari, Jafar Qasemi, Hassan Zakeri, Bahram Komijani, Amir Qavidel, Yousef Ranjbar, Qolam Ranjbar, and Mohammad Salimi.

As an international multi-day event for the children's media industry, the Cinekid Festival promotes quality in children's and youth media.

The 34th edition of the event is currently underway from October 7-23, 2020.
